In the Kiango-Shankoe border, Transmara, two people were killed and several others injured following clashes between Kisii's and Maasai's in the area. Several houses and sugarcane farms were also burnt down. The Kisii community were accusing the Maasai's of stealing their cows. Security forces were deployed in the area to take care of any arising chaos.

Narok - Thousands of demonstrators went to the streets to demand the immediate resignation of Narok governor Samuel Tunai.TheProtestors, including several elected leaders, gave governor Tunai a 14 day ultimatum to quit, but the governor who addressed supporters in Narok vowed to stay put.
