Conflict has resulted at olbosimoru/olmariko. The fight started yesterday in the morning. four people feared dead(2shot by KWS alleged in possession of ivory and this was the trigger of everything). Others 2 shot by arrows. Police car arrowed and they fled for safety. Tensions high in Narok as locals demonstrate over the detention of their political leaders who had earlier in the week organized protests over the mismanagement of resources in the county. All roads into Narok town have been closed by the protestors who demand the release of their Senator. Several people were attacked and injured by youth who accused them of being sympathetic to the governer.
In the Kiango-Shankoe border, Transmara, two people were killed and several others injured following clashes between Kisii's and Maasai's in the area. Several houses and sugarcane farms were also burnt down. The Kisii community were accusing the Maasai's of stealing their cows. Security forces were deployed in the area to take care of any arising chaos.
